Business and Society Research Paper Topics - How To Address Questions With Outstanding Results
Business and Society Research Paper Topics - How To Address Questions With Outstanding ResultsThe most interesting part of any business and society research paper is the questions that are posed. You need to explore all these questions to make sure that you have taken all the necessary steps to come up with a solution that addresses your concerns and make it clear to your audience what the solution really means. One of the most common problem of many businesses is the lack of focus. Their employees are often off chasing new ideas and trying to find out how they can implement this new idea. While this could be a good thing, it could also be a very dangerous problem to be facing. If you only focus on the implementation of something you just implemented, you might end up in the same place as before. What happens if you continue to focus on the implementation of an original idea while ignoring the questions that you need answering? It's likely that you will be throwing your hands up in fru stration. This is why it is important to think in terms of addressing questions before you start implementing your new business or society. Even better, you could still have this very same question in mind but still implementing your new idea.A good example of this is to ask yourself the following question. 'What is the real impact of this new concept that I have introduced?' The answer may seem obvious. However, in order to get this kind of information, you may need to implement some thinking on this subject as well.As an example, if you're introducing a new idea that involves the interaction between customers and suppliers, it is likely that you will want to know whether your idea is profitable. To ask yourself this question will help you understand whether you have effectively addressed the questions that need to be answered.Another interesting ways to address questions is to actually examine the financial aspects of the business. When you can get a direct explanation of the prof itability of your business, it will give you a clearer picture of what the idea actually means. If you can find out how much profit you're really making and how much you would need to increase your profit margin, you will gain a better understanding of what you are doing wrong. These are the two important factors that will contribute to the success of your business. When you start thinking in terms of addressing questions, you will be able to come up with different solutions to the problems that you're facing. You will also be able to come up with answers to questions that you know that you don't know yet.
Finding Out Which the Discussion Section is in Your Research Paper
Finding Out Which the Discussion Section is in Your Research PaperThere is a very good example discussion section of a research paper that many students do not even realize is part of the coursework. This is an example discussion section in which students are required to respond to a written question about a fact or a topic in the research that they are working on. The response should also be taken as a way of learning about the topic, as well as about the ways in which the material is used in the student's thesis. In many cases the student will need to refer back to the discussion, as part of their research paper. However, students are often confused about how to go about this. A very good way to go about this is to find out what kind of discussion section the research paper itself is a part of.For example, some research papers will have a detailed discussion about particular questions in the research. This will be one of the sections that will have the most questions, and students w ill often be asked to take a turn answering them. Other research papers will have a general discussion section, which may be quite long. It may be necessary for the student to answer a wide range of questions.Students should remember that they should not assume that they will be able to answer all the questions at the basic level. They should be willing to give some thought to the question at hand. The more they understand the research that they are working on, the more chance they will be able to address the issue. This will provide a better idea of what they should write about in their research paper. The best way to figure out what type of discussion section of the research paper is a part of is to find out that the research paper itself is a part of. Some research papers will have a discussion section that can be viewed online, and it may also be worth asking the professor to look it up. In addition, sometimes the professor will indicate the type of section in his or her class sc hedule. There is no reason to think that there is a consensus on which the discussion section should be in the research paper. Students can find out by looking up the writing assignment and reading the table of contents. This can provide the information that they need to make sure that they are doing research in a way that will actually help their topic.Remember that the discussion section is an important part of the research paper. Studying the actual sections will help students to see what sort of sections might be used in the research, and it will also help them to decide what sorts of sections are needed.

Women In Literature Essays - Mythology, Greek Mythology, Religion
Women In Literature The changing role of women in literature from the late 8th century B. C. to the 4th century A. D. is evident in that women become even more subservient in later works. This is portrayed in the works The Odyssey by Homer and Sakuntala by Kalidasa. Women are treated more like slaves in Sakuntala, while they are seen more like equals in The Odyssey. However, in Sakuntala, women are given more responsibilities, suggesting that people of the time viewed women capable of doing more things and perhaps more intelligent, instead of being seen as ornamental, as in The Odyssey. The Odyssey was written in a time when men played the dominant role. In ancient Greece, women occupied a subservient position. Society was organized and directed by men, and all of the most important positions in society were held by men. Women were valued, but they participated in the affairs of the world only when they had the permission or open approval of the men who directed their lives. The literature of this time illustrates these social conventions. No reader of The Odyssey can help having vivid memories of the poem's outstanding female characters. There are many women in The Odyssey and all of them contribute in meaningful ways to the development of the action. In addition, the poet treats them seriously and with respect, as if there were no difference between his attitude toward them and his feelings toward the men. Among the memorable women in the poem are included: Nausica, the innocent young girl; Arete, the wise queen and mother; Kirke and Kalypso, the mysterious temptresses; Penelope, the model of devotion and fidelity; Helen, the respectable middle-class matron; and others, like Eurykleia and Melantho, who have much smaller roles, but equally well defined personalities. Finally, there is Athena, the goddess, who more than any other of these women, is intelligent, sophisticated, and independent, just like the way modern society has come to see women. The influential feminine roles in The Odyssey also have important effects upon the whole poem. It is in The Odyssey that such ideas as love, family loyalty, and devotion, and other such important ethical attitudes, are illustrated. It is the presence of these unconscious moral lessons that makes The Odyssey so unique to its genre. In a way, The Odyssey is not just the tale of the wanderings of Odysseus. The poet has made it, also, into a sort of "catalogue of women," in which he examines women of all kinds and from all walks of life. These feminine portraits are almost always objective and fair; Homer never made judgments, and each of these women has a certain appeal. It is interesting, however, that the woman who is most worthy of respect and affection is not a mortal. Homer seems to comment that no human being could develop herself in this way. His admiration for Athena is made even more evident by the fact that she, and not Penelope or another woman, is the heroine of the poem and the sole companion and confidante of Odysseus. It is only in our modern world that women have been given the opportunity to fully utilize their talent and ability, in order to become equal and contributing members of society, like Athena seems to be. In Sakuntala women are portrayed to play more of a subservient role than they were in The Odyssey. Even though the women in The Odyssey are looked upon merely as someone to cook and clean and bear the children, they play major roles in the poem. In Sakuntala the women play no major roles in the poem, at least not anything like the women played in The Odyssey. Sakuntala herself plays a very demeaning role being forced to do all the chores, the gathering of food, and the manual labor around the house. This is much different than in The Odyssey where the man was the one who did most of the chores, brought home the food, and most of the manual labor about the house. In ancient Greek times, women were seen as more delicate and placed figurative pedestals. They were expected to take care of the house, but this only included making sure everything ran smoothly, and delegating chores and responsibilities. They were not actually expected to do the manual labor themselves. Some of the important women in Sakuntala include: Sakuntala, the lover of nature and the prospective heroine of the play; Anasuya and Priyamvada, aides of Sakuntala and women you help in her chores; and

ââ¬Å"The Sky Is Grayâ⬠Deals With Racism and Offers a Courageous Solution That Challenges The Rules of Society. In a society that is divided by the polarities of black and white, all citizens must abide by the strict rules of separation. However, there are some, and usually only a few, who realize that this ominous society in which they live must not dictate such terms. Eight-year-old James from rural Louisiana travels with his mother to a white-dominated town, in order to visit the dentist: James narrates Ernest Gainesââ¬â¢ story ââ¬Å"The Sky Is Gray.â⬠The author proposes that those refusing to accept societyââ¬â¢s rules on race relations may provide part of a solution to eradicate prejudices. He is able to accomplish this with a young black man who uses education and reasoning as support, and through an elderly couple who exercise compassion in the story. The young college man demands radical change in race relations when he suggests that educating oneself in a white-dominated society is part of the solution. The nameless young man quickly becomes alienated in the small waiting room of the dental office, when he confronts the black communityââ¬â¢s status in society by asserting that, ââ¬Å"We donââ¬â¢t question is exactly our problem.â⬠He advocates to ââ¬Å"Question everything. Discussion Topics - Essay Example (The Gilder, 2009) The Civil Rights Movement is very important in American history because it consequently put a stop to obvious discrimination and abuse of people who helped America gain freedom and prosperity. Despite the optimism of the times, African Americans were still being looked down on in American society. I have chosen Rosa Parks as someone who played a very significant role in post-war America. Rosa Parks was just a civilian but what she did on the bus in Montgomery, not giving up her seat in the colored section of the bus for a white person, sparked much needed reform. Mrs. Sparks had paid the right fare and was seated in the right section of the bus. However, because preference was given to white people that time, Mrs. Sparks was ordered to move. The simple act of Mrs. Sparks, even if she got arrested for it, helped bring about tremendous change in the life of African Americans. Thanks to Mrs. Sparks and other like her who fought for the recognition of black people, the white people stopped treating African Americans as lesser individuals and instead, the ââ¬Å"whiteâ⬠society started treating ââ¬Å"black peopleâ⬠as equals. African Americans were given the rightful privileges due to them as citizens of the United States. The Gilder Lehrman Insitute of American History. (Producer). What are the significance of African American theater and culture from Essay
What are the significance of African American theater and culture from both a national and global perspective - Essay Example Their storytelling, dance, music and performance was a vital tool to motivate the slaves as they worked on tobacco and sugar cane plantations, mines and salt flats. Eventually as theater developed from the African ancestry of Greek tragedy of Shakespearean epics, American stages have created a broad series of plays, mostly prejudiced by the diverse population inhabiting this nation (Hill, 2004). Impacts realized through theatre performance in themes of African American plays The free southern theatreââ¬â¢s production of a play, by the name slave ship, reviewed the history of African American in the United States and deliberately dived audience along racial lines, (Baraka 1968) a symbolic slave ship was created in the center of the large playing area, with close seating, on all sides. The grasp of the ship, where slave bodies were piled in overcrowded quarters, was eye point with the audience portraying the merciless situation on board. During a created slave auction, female slaves were undressed topless and pushed at American men in the audience, who were inquired what they considered the women were valued. Many white audience members were so distressed by this violent argument with history that they created at early days; others hoped they had a chance to experience. At the end of the play, actors, involved black power actions, bringing on board the black audience members to join them in surrounding the white audience, while shouting for aggressive rebellion. At many performances, black audience members, felt empowered and motivated by the presentation, they joined the actors in shouting and frightening white spectators. Many white members felt endangered and irritated that they had paid to be battered, or felt powerless to express their compassion with the blacks in a mood of hostility. This play was meant to incite different reactions from different audience participants to educate the experience of history, and racism could not assist but power the audienceââ¬â¢s experience of the play. These kinds of plays were used to polarize the audience along racial lines (Baraka 1968). Through the plays racism was discouraged in the United States through pre-active measures to prevent hostility among the citizens despite their race or origin. Once more, many white audience members were evidently shaken by the direct quarrel. This brought unity among the immigrants and the natives around the country and at a global level. The African American evolutions of theater presentations lead to the audiences have a freedom to choose to have control of their personal experience and choose where to focus during the performances. The spectators had the choice to decide what they want to focus on, either on the background themes such as light effects or to concentrate on the actorââ¬â¢s performance. This led the directors and stage actors develop mechanisms to compel l the performances so that the spectator s does not mix up their understanding. As the earlier directors took advantage of audience concentration they reduced the confrontation that dominated the previous performances in America (Hill, 2004). The open-air daytime performances in ancient Greece took place in a celebratory atmosphere in which social relations, drinking, and eating were all part of a daylong theatre occasion. Such events created an avenue for people from different races, cultures and tribes to interact, leading to exchange of cultural practices among them. This created a strong bond and a harmonious coexistence. In olden Rome, theatre was performed at religious celebration that presented a massive collection of entertainments. Both secular and sacred, arts were meant to
